Council executive meetings are held once a month, during the fraternal year (Sept - June), on the second Tuesday at 7:30 pm in our council chambers at 4049 King Andrew Court, Mississauga. On. Council members in good standing are welcome to attend.

General Council meetings take place on the third Tuesday of each month during the fraternal year. Meetings commence at 8:00 PM in the church hall at STS PETER & PAUL. The general meetings are open to all members, of the Knights of Columbus, in good standing and possessing a current membership card.

Major fund raising is achieved through Nevada "break-open" ticket sales and bingo.

Nevada tickets are sold at Friya's Smoke Shop located in the Central Parkway Mall (across from the Church). The purchase of tickets provides funds to assist the Parish and Catholic charities throughout Mississauga.

Bingo is held monthly - the first Tuesday of the month - at 10:00pm at Delta Bingo Hall, 1650 Dundas Street West, Mississauga (south side, east of Dixie road). Again, the proceeds assist in our allocations to the Parish and Catholic charities.

Sts. Peter & Paul Council have a commitment to assist the cancer unit being added to Credit Valley Hospital. In addition to donations through our annual allocations, a major fund raising event, exclusively for the hospital, is held early in July. This is our annual Chicken BBQ which is named in memory of Past Grand Knight (Charter Deputy GK) Sir Knight William P. Riosa. Bill succumbed to the disease in 2001. Following the BBQ dinner, a dance is held with a cash bar. Locations vary but are held at one of the Community Centers within the parish district.

An annual tradition has been made with our Lenten Fish & Chips Night, held on a Friday Evening during Lent, in a school hall. In addition to providing, at nominal cost, a dinner for knights and their families, parishioners and guests, the Knights deliver dinners to the Church hall for the enjoyment of the choir following their regular Friday evening practice.

Anniversary of our Charter is celebrated with a dinner/dance at which our Knight of the Year is recognized. This event takes place early in May and is open to all.

Early in December, a family evening is held at which a potluck dinner is served followed by a visit by Santa Claus who distributes gifts for the children and grand children of members.

Members of the Knights, and their families, participate in numerous ministries of the parish on a regular basis. During a Council Family mass, the ushers, altar-servers, lectors and Eucharistic ministers are Knights and family members.
